    The Spectre ELD platform is designed to record, store, and transfer ELD data using telematics-based methods. It supports two primary methods(Telematics) for transferring data to authorized safety officials: Web services and Email. Data Transfer Process: 1. From the bottom menu, select "DOT Report". 2. To send the report directly to the DOT portal, choose Transfer Logs. A pop-up screen will appear. Select the preferred transfer method: "Web Service" or "Email". 3. Enter the Output File Comment provided by the DOT officer in the text box. 4. Click "Transfer Logs" to complete the data transfer.

    The Spectre ELD system continuously monitors for potential malfunctions to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations. It tracks and logs issues across various compliance areas, storing the data securely for review. Detected malfunctions are displayed with specific codes in the Violations tab of the Spectre ELD app. These codes help drivers and fleet managers quickly identify and address any issues. Stored malfunction data can also be extracted for compliance reviews or during roadside inspections.
