Data Transfer and Reporting Procedures
Hutch ELD2020I supports Wireless Web Services and Email data transport method. When the vehicle is stopped, an icon appears on the screen for the driver to transmit data to FMCSA via Web Services or Email. Once the driver chooses the option, ELD2020I allows the driver to enter a comment which will be included in the output file. The comment is left blank if driver does not enter any comment when generating the output file. After the comment, driver can click the transmit button to start the transmission of data to FMCSA (data transmitted is current 24hrs period and previous 7 or 8 days used be the motor carrier). When the transfer is completed, driver is displayed a message of successful transmission or an error.Malfunctions and Testing
The ELD 2020I is capable of monitoring its compliance for various required detectable malfunctions. When the ELD 2020I etects or clears each malfunction, an event is recorded. In the event a malfunction is recored, an Red light is displayed on the display describing to the user the malfunction logged. The ELD2020I is capable of logging the Power Malfunction, Engine Synchronization Malfunction, Timing Compliance Malfunction, Postitioning Malfunction, Data Recording Malfunction, and Data Transfer Malfuntion. This statement is to certify that the ELD 2020I an iOS based application and the ELD 2020 hardware combined offering is in compliance with the U.S Department of Transportation ("DOT") and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration ("FMCSA") Electronic Logging Device ("ELD") for Hours-Of-Service ("HOS") requirements ("FMCSA ELD Requirements"), 49 CFR Part 395 Subpart B. The ELD 2020 has been verified with the testing procedures outlined by the FMCSA in Peterbilt 389 2015 model. The customers are required to operate the ELD2020I in accordance with opeartional instructions provided by Hutch Systems Inc.
