    loopELD solution is capable of supporting option 1 (Telematics Transfer methods) outlined in Section 4.9.1 of Appendix A to Subpart B of 49 CFR 395. Through the use of the loopELD app, drivers have the ability to initiate a data transfer through wireless web services or email. Additionally, drivers can use the one-touch "Inspect” button located on the main page which leads them to the "Inspection" page that allows officers to review logs via the mobile display or driver to transfer logs via web services or email as needed. In order to perform a data transfer, the driver must first tap on the "Transfer" button. Subsequently, he will be prompted to choose the appropriate transfer method and input the output file comment (if provided). Upon completing these steps, the driver should then initiate the transfer process by tapping the "Send" button.

  • Certification Statement

    loopELD system is designed to continuously monitor for all malfunctions and diagnostic events that may occur, including: power, engine synchronization, timing, positioning, data recording, data transfer, required data elements and unidentified driving, as specified in section 4.6 of the mandate. Should a malfunction be detected, the system will report it as required in ELD data file(s) and will also provide a visual indication on the ELD system, in compliance with section 4.6.2.1. This self-monitoring feature ensures that the system operates within the parameters outlined by the regulation, helping to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the ELD data.
