Data Transfer and Reporting Procedures

Optima ELD solution supports Option 1 (Telematics Transfer methods) of 4.9.1 of Appendix A to Subpart B of 49 CFR 395. Using the Optima Driver app, drivers can initiate a data transfer using wireless web services or email. Drivers can create a data transfer via the "one-touch" DOT Inspection tab in the Main menu. This will allow an Officer to review logs via the mobile display or transfer logs via web services or email as desired.Certification Statement
Optima ELD system self-monitors for all appropriate malfunctions, including power, engine synchronization, timing, positioning, data recording, data transfer, required data elements, and unidentified driving, as required in section 4.6 of the mandate.
