ELD Records are transferred via encrypted email and Web Services to the FMCSA. Instructions: 1. Driver presses large blue button labeled 'DOT Inspection Mode'. 2. On following screen driver presses large blue button labeled, 'Send Logs to FMCSA'. 3. Alternatively, driver presses button labeled, 'Inspect Logs on Device', in order to show inspection officer the previous 7 days logs plus today'sCertification Statement
Maven Machines detects, logs, and codes all malfunctions and diagnostic events listed in Table 4 of the ELD Rule. Specifically; 1. The Maven ELD monitors for power compliance and will record a power data diagnostic event if a driving time understatement is calculated per the power requirements specified in section 4.3.1.1 of the ELD Rule. 2. The Maven ELD monitors for engine synchronization compliance and will record an engine synchronization diagnostic event when it can no longer can acquire updated values for the ELD parameters as specified in section 4.3.1 and 4.2 of the ELD Rule. 3. The Maven ELD monitors for positioning compliance and will set and record a positioning compliance malfunction if location or timing values exceed the tolerances specified in section 4.6.1.4 of the ELD Rule. Additionally, Maven ELD will record a missing required element data diagnostic event for positioning malfunctions as described in 4.6.1.4 4. The Maven ELD monitors for data recording compliance and will record a missing data elements data diagnostics event if it detects missing data, or is no longer able to record or retain records as specified in section 4.6.1.5. 5. The Maven ELD monitors for data transfer compliance and will record a data transfer data diagnostic event or a data transfer compliance malfunction depending on the states described in section 4.6.1.7 6. The Maven ELD monitors for unidentified driving activity and will record an unidentified driving records data diagnostic event upon the conditions described in 4.6.1.6 7. The Maven ELD user interface conforms to user alerting as described in sections 4.6.2 and 4.6.3 for communicating recorded diagnostic events and malfunctions to the driver.
