To transmit records via Web Services, drivers access the DOT Inspection menu, select Transfer Logs, choose Web Service as their transfer option, and confirm by pressing Transfer Logs. For Email transfers, the process begins identically, opening DOT Inspection and tapping Transfer Logs, but drivers select Email as the transfer method and complete the action by pressing Transfer Data.
  • Certification Statement

AWA ELD continuously monitors its compliance with technical standards by identifying malfunctions and data inconsistencies. The system maintains comprehensive records of every malfunction and diagnostic event using a standardized coding system. Malfunction codes include: P for Power compliance, E for Engine synchronization compliance, T for Timing compliance, L for Positioning compliance, R for Data recording compliance, S for Data transfer compliance, O for any other ELD-detected malfunction. Diagnostic events use the following codes: 1 for Power data diagnostics, 2 for Engine synchronization data diagnostics, 3 for Missing required data elements diagnostics, 4 for Data transfer diagnostics, 5 for Unidentified driving records diagnostics, 6 for any other ELD-identified diagnostic event. The Malfunction and Diagnostic Event Records document all malfunctions occurring during the file generation period. Any currently active malfunctions are accessible to all authorized device operators.
