MiX ELD Driver Logs User guide Legal Notices LEGAL NOTICE AND DISCLAIMER The legislation and rules concerning the installation and operation of GPS driver aids, which includes the MiX Hours of Service Electronic Logging Device (MiX ELD), vary between states and countries. You are required to familiarize yourself with the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which the vehicle will be operated prior to installing and using the MiX ELD. Applicable laws and regulations place the responsibility on the motor carrier to have electronic logging devices correctly installed. The MiX ELD therefore needs to be installed in a manner that complies with the law and will not cause accidents, property damage, personal injury, or death. The owner of the MiX ELD and the vehicle are responsible for observing safe driving practices. The MiX ELD should be used strictly in compliance with this driver guide.
