Haulynx ELD 1 Locate your trucks DIAGNOSTIC PORT, commonly found in one of the following locations: A. Underneath the left side of the dash B. Underneath the steering wheel C. Near the drivers left kick panel D. Beneath the drivers seat For a discrete (hidden) installation, remove the panel where the DIAGNOSTIC PORT is located and secure the Haulynx ELD and Wiring Harness with zip ties. 2 Connect the GREEN (MALE) 9-PIN plug to your trucks diagnostic port. 3 Turn the TRUCK ON. For a discrete (hidden) installation, unmount the original Truck Diagnostic Port and mount the Wiring Harness Port in its place. Truck Diagnostic Port Wiring Harness Diagnostic Port ! Once a successful connection is established, the Haulynx ELD will display a constant RED light with a YELLOW flash every 3 seconds. Secure the BLACK (FEMALE) 9-PIN plug in an accessible location to allow the connection of other devices to the DIAGNOSTIC PORT without unplugging the Haulynx ELD. The HOS (Hours of Service) screen is the central way of interacting with the on-board Haulynx Electronic Logging Device and is the primary location for tracking Hours of Service. 1 ELD Instruction Manual Keep this instruction manual inside of the truck at all times. 2 Connect to Truck Within the Haulynx Mobile App, always select the truck you are driving.
