User Manual Table of Contents Installation 3 Hours of Service Records 4 Logs Information 5 Manage Statuses 6 Online Portal 7 2 Installation Look for 9-or 6-pin circular ports in heavy-duty vehicles or an OBDII port in light or medium-duty vehicles. That is the vehicles ECM (diagnostic) port. Use the provided cable to connect the device to the ECM (diagnostic) port. You can mount the device on the dashboard. On your mobile device, download the logbook app and sign in with the username and password created and provided to you by a eet manager. You will see a list of vehicles (previously created by a eet manager). Select your vehicle and the app will connect to the device via Bluetooth. 3 Hours of Service Records Once you have signed into the app and chosen the vehicle, you will have access to the following information: Status You can view your current status and change it in accordance with your activity. Remaining time until the next shift and cycle The app calculates the amount of time needed to start a new shift or cycle. When a new shift or 70/8 period begins a visible signal will appear. 4 Logs Information Per DOT regulations, logs information includes: a paperlike graph-grid and a list of status events. Logs from dierent dates can be viewed navigating with the < > buttons through the preview screen. Graph-grid Shows the drivers statuses throughout a 24-hour period. Status events Each status change and duration is registered. Tap on any status to view annotations, vehicle details, shipping document number, and other additional information. Driver details View drivers status as well as contact info, license number, current cycle, carrier, and location. 5 4 Manage Statuses Driving time cannot be changed and statuses cannot be deleted. However, you can edit statuses on your app. Any edits made to a log that has been certied will rescind the certication; the driver will be required to certify the log again. The system will send a notication if an edit results in an HOS violation. The edit will be saved nonetheless. 6 Online Portal Driving Availability View real-time data on each drivers duty status and remaining or reset hours. HOS Violations Receive notications about HOS violations. All violations are archived and the records can be accessed by the eet manager. Driver Information View current or last location and vehicle driven for each driver, as well as their contact information. 7 Vehicle Information Click on a vehicle ID to see its latest history and check shipping document numbers. Download Logs Download any drivers logs in PDF format in just a few seconds. Transfer Logs In case of a roadside inspection, the eet manager can send logs to an FMCSA ocer from the online portal. Filter Logs Find logs by date, driver, vehicle or date to save time. Precongured Statuses Managers can set Yard Move and Personal Use as valid duty statuses. 8
