As soon as you log in to your Fleet Vision account, the application initiates an automatic search for available ELD devices in your vicinity. This process eliminates the need for manual pairing, saving you time and effort. Once a compatible ELD is detected, the app will establish a secure connection to ensure accurate data synchronization and reliable performance. Getting Started 03 After the scanning process is complete, you will need to select your Electronic Logging Device (ELD) from the list of detected devices displayed on the screen. Carefully review the available options to ensure you choose the correct ELD that matches your vehicle or system. This step is essential to establish a proper connection and ensure accurate logging of driving data, compliance records, and performance metrics. Once you've identified your ELD in the list, simply tap on it to confirm your selection and establish a secure connection. If your ELD device does not appear, ensure it is powered on, within range, and functioning correctly before retrying the scan. 04 The connection status of your Electronic Logging Device (ELD) is indicated on the dashboard by a color-coded icon located in the top-left corner. When the ELD is successfully connected to the vehicle, the icon will turn green, signifying an active and secure connection. This ensures that all driving data, compliance logs, and performance metrics are being recorded accurately and in real time. If the ELD is not connected, the icon will remain red, accompanied by the message ELD not connected. This alert serves as a visual cue, reminding you to troubleshoot the connection. Fleet Vision on the Road 01 Once your mobile device is successfully connected to the Electronic Logging Device (ELD), your driving time begins to record automatically. As your vehicle starts moving, the system monitors its speed. When the vehicle reaches a minimum speed of 5 mph, the ELD automatically updates your duty status to Driving. This automation eliminates the need for manual status changes, reducing administrative tasks and minimizing errors in your records. This seamless integration ensures that your driving activity is accurately logged in real time, providing reliable data for compliance reports and operational analysis. 02 In the main window of the application, you can select a status that accurately reflects your current situation. From the available options, choose one of the following Off Duty: When you are not working and free from any job-related responsibilities Sleeper Berth: When you are resting in the designated sleeping area of your vehicle On Duty: When you are working but not driving, such as loading, unloading, or conducting inspections. Take a moment to carefully select the appropriate status to ensure your logs remain accurate and align with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Fleet Vision on the Road 03 When recording an activity, it's important to fill out the location field accurately and include relevant remarks for clarity and compliance. In the location field, specify your exact location or the nearest identifiable point, such as a city, rest stop, or landmark. This detail helps create a comprehensive and accurate log for your records. Additionally, use the remarks section to provide context for your activity. For example Pre-trip inspection when youre conducting a vehicle check before starting your trip Coffee break when taking a personal break Fuel stop for refueling activities. If the location field is left empty, the system will automatically populate it based on GPS data. However, manually entering the information can ensure greater precision and provide additional context where needed. Regularly updating these fields enhances the accuracy of your records and simplifies compliance with regulations. Check ELD logs 01 To access the inspection section, start by tapping the Menu icon located in the top-left corner of the screen. This will open a dropdown menu displaying various options. From there, select Inspection to proceed. The Inspection feature allows you to review critical details, ensuring your records are complete and compliant with regulations. By navigating to this section, you can easily access and verify logs, reports, or other inspectionrelated information needed for audits or roadside checks. Regularly using this feature helps maintain accuracy and readiness for compliance requirements. 02 To start an inspection, tap the "Begin Inspection" button on your device.
