Install the PT30 ELD device in your vehicle

With the engine off, locate the diagnostic
port inside the vehicle. The diagnostic port
is generally located in one of four places:

Attach the 9-pin, 6-pin or OBDI cable 

to the diagnostic port of the vehicle.

a. Underneath the left side of the dash.

b. Underneath the steering wheel.

c. Near the driver's left kick panel.

d. Below the driver's seat.

Attach the other side of the cable 

to the Timetrack ELD. Screw down 

the thumbscrews on the 15-pin connector 

to secure the cable to the ELD.

Once plugged in, the indicator lights will flash
momentarily before turning solid red. 

After approximately one minute, the left-side
indicator light will turn green, indicating a successful
GPS connection. If this does not occur, try moving
the ELD to increase exposure to the sky.

Choose a spot on the top of the dashboard to mount your ELD. 

The mounting spot should be near the windshield, but away from
any vents or electrical components that may cause interference.

Before you mount the ELD, use the provided
alcohol swab to clean the mounting area.

Remove the backing from the adhesive strip
and mount the ELD to the cleaned area.

Download & login the Timetrack ELD App

the Timetrack ELD App from the Google
Play Store.

Contact your fleet manager.
Open the Timetrack ELD driver
account.

Enter your username&password;
Click Sign In.

Connect Timetrack ELD App to PT30 device

The driver scans for nearby vehicle's ELD. The app shows which devices
are close enough to connect ("NEAR") or too far away ("AWAY")
Select the vehicle that you want to connect to.
The connected device appears at the top 

with a green "Connected" status.

Adding signature

Your digital signature is required when you certify your logs 

for the first time. Once provided, the signature is stored 

in the system and automatically applied to future certifications.


1. Initial Signature Promp
If you tap Certify without having a saved signature, 

the app will prompt you to sign on the Signature screen
Draw your signature in the space provided and press Save
After saving, your signature will be attached to all subsequent

certifications.


2. Editing Your Existing Signatur
If you need to update or change your signature later, open your

. Profile and tap the current signature image
On the Signature screen, clear the old signature and draw 

a new one
Press Save to confirm and store your updated signature 

in the system.

Enable app permissions

Tap Permissions to open a detailed list of requirements, 


Location services, notifications, and Bluetooth must be enabled 


each showing whether it's currently allowed or denied.

to ensure accurate tracking and compliant ELD functionality. 



Tapping any permission will redirect you to your device's settings,
where you can enable the required access.

Home screen

Hours of Service (HOS) Display
The Home Screen of the Timetrack ELD provides real-time
visibility into your remaining driving and work hours in compliance
with FMCSA regulations. The screen displays
Drive Time: Remaining time within the 11-hour driving limit
Break Time: Countdown to the mandatory 30-minute break
Shift Time: Countdown for the 14-hour on-duty window
Cycle Time: Remaining hours for the cycle (e.g., 60/70-hour
limit for USA rules).

These visual indicators help drivers effectively manage their hours
and stay compliant.
