Elite Power Unit

Install & Connect ELD
Locate ECM (diagnostic) port
Locate ECM (diagnostic) port inside of your vehicle. Look for 9-pin or 6-pin circular
ports in heavy duty vehicles. Look for OBDII port in light/medium duty vehicles.
Install ELD
Simply plug the provided cable into a vehicle ECM (diagnostic) and attach the other
end to the ELD device. The dual fastener is provided for dash mounting.
Log into Elite Power Unit Logbook App
Log in to Elite Power Unit Logbook App on your tablet/smartphone with a username
and password created during a sign up process or provided by a fleet manager.
Connect ELD
Select a vehicle from a list of available vehicles and your device will attempt to
connect to ELD via Bluetooth. Green Bluetooth indicator at the top right corner
means you are ready to start using ELD.

Duty Status
Set duty status with just two-clicks. Status is updated automatically when driving starts or
stops, Easy-to-use interface allows drivers to spend less time doing paperwork and more
time driving. Elite Power Unit simplifies training and prevents log errors.

Current Status

Change Status

Current duty status is always
Tap the status circle, select your current
displayed on Status page inside of
status, add a note if necessary
status circle along with available or reset hours. (i.e. pre-trip inspection) and press Update button.

Personal Use Off-duty and Yard Move
On-Duty statuses must be configured
and allowed by a fleet manager.

Logs

Todays log
Tap on Todays log view & manage your current log.
Logs History
View past logs & violations if any. Tab on a log you would like to view or
edit.
Statuses/Events
Tap on a specific status in the events section to view location and notes.
Edit/Insert Status
Press on Pencil to edit or + to insert a past duty status.
Certify Log
Tap Certify and sign your log when your shift ends.

ELD Exports
Both Wireless Web services and Email are supported
To share the Logbook for the current plus the previous 7
days and/or export the ELD output file via email or
webservice
You can go to the menu Roadside Inspection mode and
select either email or agent. This is a single step process.
Enter the file comment provided by the roadside inspector
and tap on Export Data File
You can go to the menu and select Logbook or enter
Roadside Inspection mode. This is a single step process.

Driver Details
Hours of Service
View current status and real-time hours.
Available and reset hours are calculated automatically.

View current log graph grid and last 14 logs.
Click on a log details. Click More to view historical logs.

Logging Your Duty Status
Access the Main Screen
Once you've successfully logged in to the ELD app, you will land on the
main screen. This screen provides an overview of your current duty status
and other vital information.
Update Your Status
To change your duty status, locate and tap on the Status button. A list of
available statuses, including Off Duty, Driving, On Duty, Sleeper will
appear. Yard Moves, and Personal Use will be available if pre-configured
by your fleet manager. Choose the appropriate status by tapping on it.

Managing HOS Records
Access Your Logs
Navigate to the Logs section within the ELD app to gain access to your
electronic HOS records. This feature allows you to review your duty status
changes over different dates, providing a comprehensive overview of your
driving activities.
Detailed Information
To see detailed HOS records, simply tap on a specific date. This action will
open up a detailed view of each duty status you've recorded. You'll find
essential information such as the exact time, duration, and specific
locations, etc.

Managing HOS Records

Edit with Caution
The ELD app allows edits to be made in accordance to FMCSA guidelines.
It is important to note that automatically recorded driving time cannot
be
under any circumstance. However, you can still make adjustments to other duty
status entries. To edit, tap on the pencil icon beside the respective entry. If you
need to insert a past duty status that you inadvertently missed, use the "Create"
button to add it.

Driver Vehicle Inspection
Reports (DVIRs)
Easily initiate the process of creating pre- or post-trip inspection reports by
tapping the "+" sign. This intuitive action ensures that you
comprehensively document the condition of your vehicle before and after
each journey, enhancing safety and compliance.
Take a proactive step in vehicle maintenance by promptly notifying your
mechanic of any identified defects or issues from the inspection. This
helps to keep your vehicle in optimal working condition, contributing to
efficient operations and reduced downtime.

DOT Inspection Mode

Facilitate seamless roadside inspections by providing your device to
officers. They can easily navigate through your logs, ensuring a
hassle-free inspection process.
DOT Inspection Mode
Access the DOT Inspection mode via the side menu
When prompted by the officer, tap the "Data Transfer" option within the DOT
Inspection mode. This will transfer your logs to Web Service.
There is also an option to email logs to certain email address.

Offline Mode
Experience uninterrupted performance even when your device encounters
a loss of cellular signal. The app seamlessly transitions to an offline mode,
ensuring your logging process remains unaffected.
When connectivity is restored, rest assured that all logs recorded during
the offline period will be automatically synchronized with the app. This
intelligent feature guarantees that your data is always up-to-date and
accurately reflects your duty status.
Additionally, you have the option to manually prompt synchronization with
the server by tapping the "Sync" icon in the app's action bar.
