DASHBOARD ELD Welcome to the ELD Essentials Quick Start Guide This manual will help you get started with your Electronic Logging Device (ELD). Installation and Setup Install ELD Hardware Firstly, identify the ECM (diagnostic) port in your vehicle. Depending on your vehicle type, connect the ELD hardware using the appropriate 6-pin, 9-pin, or OBDII cable provided. Mount the device on your dashboard to ensure visibility. Download the Mobile App Visit your devices app store, search for the ELD app, and complete the installation process. Log into the Mobile App Enter the login credentials supplied by your fleet manager. After logging in, select your vehicle from the provided list. Using the Mobile App Manage Duty Status Effortlessly toggle between different statuses through the apps intuitive interface. Driving time is recorded automatically. Certify Logs Regularly sign and certify your logs to comply with regulatory requirements. Create DVIRs Regularly generate Vehicle Inspection Reports to keep your vehicle in optimal condition. Access DOT Inspection Mode Activate this mode during roadside inspections for ease of compliance. Review HOS Violations and Warnings Receive instant alerts about potential Hours of Service (HOS) violations. Fleet Manager Portal Access the Online Portal Use your credentials to log into the portal where you can monitor compliance and vehicle performance. Transfer Logs Easily send logs for a specific range of dates to the FMCSA officer during the DOT inspection. Yard Move and Personal Use Allow/disallow "Yard Move" and "Personal Use" statuses to meet the unique operational needs of your drivers and fleet, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
