Instructions for users JUST ELD Automatic Driver Logs The logbook and fleet manager portal enable RODS and compliance monitoring. Driver Status Once the system has been set up, driving time will be recorded automatically, and the drivers status will be visible on the Status page. On-duty hours, driving limits, and break or off-duty time requirements will be calculated and displayed for drivers and managers. FMCSA Compliance In order to avoid fines and penalties, the system supports the latest version of intra- and inter-state rules. Visual and sound alerts will warn drivers about potential and active infractions. Select Your Cycle Review the cycle you are on by going to the main menu and then Rules. The app supports cross-border Cycles and HOS rules: USA: 60/7 or 70/8 Canada: 70/7 or 120/14 Records of Duty Status Connect the hardware and log into the app on your smartphone or tablet to start recording duty statuses. Go to the main menu and tap on Status to view and manage your status. Duty Status. Shows the current status. When the vehicle moves at 5 or more mph, it will be set to Driving. The driver can change the duty status when the vehicle is completely stopped by tapping on the status circle. Shift and Cycle Restart. The driver can view the amount of time that needs to elapse before a new shift or the reset of the current cycle. The system indicates the beginning of a new period. Offline Logs The ELD hardware captures HOS data regardless of a cellular connection. The app will automatically activate the offline mode in case of single loss. HOS data should be updated at the fleet manager portal as soon as the cellular signal is restored; if it does not, prompt the process manually by tapping on Sync. The drivers mobile device will then transfer the data to the server through a stable cellular or WiFi connection. Fleet Manager Dashboard The information available to supervisors includes: Drivers real-time duty status and current or last-known location. Vehicles real-time location. Electronic driver vehicle inspection reports. Alerts on possible violations and reports on active violations. Drivers contact details. Shipping document numbers. Transfer driver logs to FMCSA officers during roadside inspections. Download driver logs in PDF. Filter logs by driver, vehicle, or date. Configure Yard Move and Personal Conveyance as available statuses.
